You will need to get your hands on some Akabanga chili oil to make these Rwandan hard-boiled eggs authentically.  They are a real treat and common street food snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg per person
  • 1 drop Akabanga chili oil

Instructions

  1. You need to hard boil how ever many eggs you need, 1 per person as an appetizer or snack.  I like to use my instapot simply put the eggs on the bottom add 1 cup of water and put on manual high for 5 minutes.  The eggs come out perfect every time.

  2. Serve with Akabanga chili oil. One or two drops is all you need of this fiery chili oil to get the authentic flavor of Rwanda.
