Ingredients

  • 2 black plantains
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  • Cut off the ends of the plantain then cut it in half and then cut each half in half and remove the peel
  • Put oil into a frying pan or a deep fryer could be used and fry until golden brown.
  • Drain on a paper towel
  • Serve warm as part of the plato typico or with some sour cream as a lovely snack
