Ingredients

lb.
sliced green beans
1 1
lb
peeled and diced potato
1
white onion
diced
4
slices
of bacon
1/2
pint
cream or sour cream
cooked sausage slices
optional
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Take the beans, potato and onion and put in a pot and cover with water by an inch or two
Cover and boil in the water until soft
Meanwhile fry slices of bacon and add bacon bits and the fat into the soup pot
Add in about 1/2 pint of cream and simmer
Salt and pepper to taste
Serve in bowls and add a slice of cooked sausage (Optional)
