Peel the green plantains (figs as they are commonly called) then dice into small pieces.
Put in boiling water on low fire with salt, allow boiling until tender.
When boiled tender, drain water and place the diced green bananas into a bowl.
Use a fork or potato masher to mash the bananas.
Mix in the onion, garlic, bell pepper and seasoning peppers and a bit of Goya Seasoning to taste. When done, mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Let sit in the bowl till slightly chilled.
Now take a large spoon and scoop up a ball then flatten to about half an inch.
Fry in oil over medium heat until they are golden brown.
