These simple to make stewed vegetables were the perfect companion to the rolled stuffed beef dish called zrazy. Cook them to fork tender. The addition of the fresh dill as a seasoning was delightful.
Belarus Stewed Vegetables Tušjenyje Harodnina
- 4 Carrots
- 4 Parsnips
- Fresh Dill Sprigs
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Peel the carrots and parsnips, cut up to desired bite size pieces and stew in boiling water until tender.
- Season with butter, salt and pepper and fresh dill, serve immediately.
