Banana Cream Pie is a perfect easy pie to end any meal, it is creamy and delicious. Add a bit of whipped cream for a little extra treat. Of course you can make your pie crust from scratch if you prefer, this is the quick and easy method.
Banana Cream Pie
Ingredients
- 1 baked pie shell
- 1 package Jello banana cream pie mix
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 2 bananas sliced
- Lemon juice
- Cool whip or whipped cream
Instructions
- Cook the pie shell as directed on packaging
- Whisk together the milk and banana cream pie mix as directed on package
- Sprinkle banana slices with lemon juice to avoid turning brown
- Line the bottom of the pie shell with 1/2 the banana slices
- Pour in the cream filling
- Top with remaining bananas
- Refrigerate about 3 hours
- Serve topped with cool whip or whipped cream
