    Banana Cream Pie

    Banana Cream Pie is a perfect easy pie to end any meal, it is creamy and delicious.  Add a bit of whipped cream for a little extra treat.  Of course you can make your pie crust from scratch if you prefer, this is the quick and easy method.

    Banana Cream Pie

    Ingredients

    • 1 baked pie shell
    • 1 package Jello banana cream pie mix
    • 2 1/2 cups milk
    • 2 bananas sliced
    • Lemon juice
    • Cool whip or whipped cream

    Instructions

    • Cook the pie shell as directed on packaging
    • Whisk together the milk and banana cream pie mix as directed on package
    • Sprinkle banana slices with lemon juice to avoid turning brown
    • Line the bottom of the pie shell with 1/2 the banana slices
    • Pour in the cream filling
    • Top with remaining bananas
    • Refrigerate about 3 hours
    • Serve topped with cool whip or whipped cream
