Botswana- Legapu – Watermelon

Legapu is what they call watermelon in Botswana. They take the credit for the land where watermelon originated, a treasure indeed, abundant during the rainy season. Sprinkled with a touch of piri-piri, no recipe needed, just slice, sprinkle and enjoy!

  • 1/2 watermelon
  • piri-piri chili powder

Instructions

  • Cut up watermelon into pieces and sprinkle with a little piri-piri
